There are wines that are the result of a carefully planned project. And then there are wines that are born from a place, a memory, or a detail of nature that returns punctually and almost silently every year.

“M’ama” was born in just this way.

In front of the winery lie some of the vineyard’s most special hectares: those overlooking the lake. Here, the light arrives early in the morning, the wind brings coolness, and the seasons seem to follow a rhythm all of their own. It is a place that lives in balance between land and water, where the terroir expresses itself with great delicacy.
It is precisely from these vineyards that the winery’s new wine is born: M’ama, a new Chiaretto di Bardolino that interprets the territory with a different perspective, starting with a specific choice in the vineyard.

The grapes, in fact, come exclusively from the hectares in front of the winery, those overlooking the lake. A careful selection that also stands out for the timing of the harvest: the grapes are picked slightly earlier than the traditional timing for Bardolino Chiaretto. This choice allows for the preservation of a livelier natural freshness, a more delicate aromatic fragrance and a gustatory tension that evokes the scents and sensations of spring.

The result is a dry, elegant and fragrant wine that authentically captures the character of the terroir.

But “M’ama” is not just an oenological choice. It is also a story.

The name, in fact, derives from what happens every year amongst these rows of vines. The vineyard is full of daisies, small wildflowers that dot the meadow between the vines and accompany the work in the countryside with their simplicity. An image that has always belonged to this place and which immediately evokes a universal memory: the childhood game of “he loves me, he loves me not”, when we plucked the petals from a daisy, leaving it to chance to provide the answer.
A simple, light-hearted gesture, yet one full of emotion.
“M’ama” embodies precisely this spirit: the lightness of memories, the connection to the land and the spontaneous beauty of the vineyard.

In the glass, this new Bardolino Chiaretto expresses its full identity. It is a dry, fragrant wine, characterised by delicate aromas that evoke spring and wildflowers. The floral notes are reminiscent of the daisies growing between the rows, whilst the freshness on the palate reflects the liveliness of a wine born from an early harvest and vineyards caressed by the lake’s climate.
It is a wine that authentically reflects the terroir, allowing the freshness, brightness and natural elegance that distinguish this part of Bardolino to shine through.
“M’ama” is therefore much more than just a new label: it is a tribute to these vineyards, their history and the memories they hold. A wine born of the earth, the season and a small flower that blooms anew amongst the vines every year.
