Production Zone: Bardolino doc classico.
Soil: hill soils of morenic origin with pebbles and sit deposited by glaciers during the Quaternary.
Wine production: ca. 90 q. per Hectare.
Grape bland: Rondinella, Molinara, Corvina, Merlot, Cabernet.
Alcohol: 13,5% vol.
Colour: intense ruby red.
Bouquet: warming, with hints of red-ripe-fruit and spices.
Taste: full, wraply and lightly tannic.
Harvest: grapes and harvested late in the season when fully ripe.
Production methods: traditional vinification on the skins for 2-3 weeks.
Ageing: in oak barrel for one year and successively in stainless steel.
Consumption: within 4 years at 16 – 17°C temperature.
Foods combination: pasta with sauce, red meat, seasoned cheese, salami.
